Seventeen players including Ethiopian based midfielder Yasa Mugerwa, Simba FC striker Emmanuel Okwi, free agent Awucho Khalid and Lusaka Daimo’s Joseph Ochaya among others were on time for Sebastien in their first half training at the KCCA FC Artificial tough in Lugogo.

The absence of some key figures in the team did not delay the tactician from imposing his methods on the team ahead of their first home game in the group against Taifa Stars of Tanzania. The coach said they needed to keep their eyes on the prize qualification to next year's final. 

We have the first official game on Saturday and what is most important is not the points but the position in the group because we have to qualify.

More foreign players are expected to jet in as the team continues to prepare for the 8th September clash at the Mandela National Stadium. Uganda tops the group in the one game played while Tanzania and Lesotho are leveled on one point each.

While Cape vies Dior is bottom of Group A with no point.
