Ndejje University replicated their Gold Medal winning performance on tracking the pool. The hosts were in imperious form winning most of the swimming events as Makerere and Kyambogo came in second and third respectively. In Netball, Kampala University beat Uganda Christian University by 30-27 goals in a closely contested Semi-final. Kampala University will now face-off with Nkumba in the final. This after Nkumba eliminated Kampala International University in the second Semi-final.
Elsewhere, Ndejje will take on Kampala University in the last game of Men’s Handball. There will be a lot at stake in the game with the winner set to be crowned the Champion of the Ran Robin event. The fight for women Handball Gold will be between Nkumba University and the host Ndejje University after Kyambogo beat Kampala University to scoop Bronze. In Volleyball, Ndejje Men will take on Uganda Christian University as Ndejje Women battle with National League Champions Nkumba for the ladies Gold Medal.
“The girls have been quite stable, just we are in the back of winning the National League but we still have a big mountain Ndejje in the finals. But we think we should be able to pull through and win the final.” Said, Tonny Lakony – Coach, Nkumba University Volleyball. Makerere University Business School won the second Semi-final against Nkumba. They will meet Ndejje in Men’s Football final.
