Maj. Gen. Nalweyiso Before Land Probe Committee

The Senior Presidential Advisor on security and defense Maj. Gen. Prossicovia Nalweyiso appeared before the land probe Commission to defend herself against claims by the Uganda Christian University that she mobilized people who beat up bishops at Ntaawo village in Mukono district where she owns the land. Nalweyiso denied the allegations and told the Commission chaired by Justice Catherine Bamugemereire that the land in question was given to her by her paternal grandmother Janet Nakayima. “And honestly my Lord, he left a will where I was supposed to be the heir.” Said, Maj. Gen. Prossicovia Nalweyiso – Presidential Advisor.

But when asked about the allegation of mobilizing people that beat up bishops, she denied the claims. “I can’t and will never support violence of any form because of land because we shall die and leave it.” She, however, admitted to being a Kibanjja holder on the land saying she will not accept to leave calling upon government, church, and the Commission to sit and forge a way forward.
