By the time we arrived in Mpadde village mourners had already started gathering at John Ssebaana Kizoto’s home in Luwero district. “We learned of his death at 11:30 am.” The locals praised Ssebaana for among others maintaining roads in the area. “He has helped work on this road and many other things.” “We LCs didn’t have to plead with people to work on our roads.” Said some of the locals. Others said he helped them get access to power, safe water and that he supported a -number of children to acquire education. “He was very instrumental in bringing electricity and water to our community.”
Ssebaana will be buried at his ancestral home at Mpadde village in Nyimbwa Sub-county. “We were always excited when he came home.” “We are very saddened by his death.” Said some of the relatives. Ahead of it, relatives have begun preparations.
