Kabaka Mutebi Urges Tolerance And Dialogue Among Leaders

The Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi arrived at Old Kampala Secondary School amidst all cheers. the King was due to officially close this year’s season for community service activities organized by the Kingdom. The King used the occasion to remind the leaders to always use dialogue and consensus in their efforts to better the lives of the people they lead. “Leaders should use dialogue and consensus to better the lives of the people they lead.” Said, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi – King of Buganda.

Kabaka Mutebi also called upon his subjects to always be mindful of improving hygiene at their homes to avoid diseases. The event was attended by different dignitaries who included politicians and religious leaders. The event which is celebrated annually on the 8th October to commemorate the attainment of independence from the British was also used to popularize the need for community service commonly known as Bulungi Bwansi in a Luganda language.
