Sulaiman Musoke has been working in Egypt for the last four months. “He was unemployed and used to borrow money from everyone.” He had arranged a meeting to reconcile with his lover Agnes bilabwa Nabakooza with whom he had a disagreement. “It is unfortunate that he killed his wife.” According to Nabakooza’s family, the 45-year-old left everyone in shock when he pulled out a pistol and shot her in the head. According to the deceased’s mother Josephine Nanyanzi, her daughter had told her that the man had been sending her threatening messages for some time. “He used to send threatening messages to her.” Said the deceased’s, mother. He fled after the incident.


Police Spokesperson for Kampala Metropolitan Emilian Kayima confirmed the incident. “It is true that it happened but he fled the scene and he’s nowhere to be seen but we promise to hunt him down and we shall bring him to account for his criminal actions. We have sealed off borders and he will not be able to get out of the country. He’s within, will get him.” Said the Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson. He said that the Police had started the hunt for Musoke and alerted the border patrols.
